THE HISTORY OF GLENWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS The earliest Glenwood School was built in 1891 on one acre (see Public Schools Report 1891-92) on the SW corner of 16 (North Bluff) and 216 (Johnson-Townline). Founded in 1877, Glenwood School District is a small district that services about 60 students, grades K-12, in rural Klickitat County. The 1963-64 enrollment was 103.
